As an visual researcher I am curious about how we, humans, relate to the world and the earth. For me, the world is what humans created and the earth is everything that includes the non-human things. In my work I focus on how we relate to the environment around us. I try to show those nearly undetectable activities and threats because I'm interested in how human behaviour and actions have a significant impact on our environment. I want to grasp broad, intimidating subjects like the climate crisis through creating images in different forms. Making work about such topics allows me to recognise my surroundings and be reminded of my own automatic, normalised beliefs.
